Parent Participation Opportunities

The WAVE would like to have a Safety Fair for the general public that would include helmet fittings, car seat checks, safety officers, dental information, fingerprinting, fitness classes, etc. They are looking for a chairperson(s) to organize this event. It would take place sometime in early 2010 or early spring. Please contact Julie Westberg at jbwestberg@comcast.net to volunteer!

Are you looking for parent hours to do late at night, at work or at home? Are you a self-starter, a writer and someone who can work independently? The Grant Writing Committe nees you! We are looking for a few more writers who can take a project and run with it. Previous grant writing experience is useful, but not required.
